At the beginning, the sole proprietorship created in 1961 by Silvio Cailotto, provided assistance on industrial and commercial vehicles of local customers. Subsequently, with the increase in shipments to the European export of the fruit and vegetable market of Verona, it specialized in the emergency assistance service abroad for Italian industrial vehicles used by local companies operating in this specific sector. The service was quickly extended to national customers, always in the suit of refrigerated transport.
In 1972, the collaboration with the US company THERMO KING, world leader in the construction of refrigeration units for tractors and semi-trailers used in the transport of perishable goods, began. At the beginning of this collaboration, Cailotto followed the sales and repairs in the northern and north-eastern area of Italy.
Following the increase of its Thermo King 24 hour assistance service and the extension of the bodywork and refrigeration sectors, the relationship with national customers has further expanded. The sales and assistance service was subsequently extended to new and used semi-trailers and refrigerated vehicles, tail lifts and all accessories for commercial and industrial vehicles.
Since 1996, the Thermo King collaboration has expanded to air conditioners for buses and mini-buses.
The commercial relationship with the French company Jean CHEREAU began in 1997: Cailotto acquires the exclusive sale and assistance for the Italian territory of the refrigerated semi-trailers produced by Chereau.
In 2000 the construction of the new headquarters was completed, in a strategic position, in Quadrante Europa, near the new agro-food center of Verona. Covered area of 13,300 square meters, total area of property 68,000 square meters.
